Acceptable Use Policy

Summary: go.ramola.app is a URL shortening and deep linking platform. You may use it for lawful purposes including affiliate marketing, app deep links, campaign tracking, and QR code generation. You may not use it to distribute malware, conduct phishing, send spam, share illegal content, or evade security systems. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and referral to law enforcement.

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs all use of go.ramola.app and its associated services, APIs, and infrastructure (collectively, the "Service"). It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and has the same legal force. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this AUP in full.

The purpose of this AUP is to protect the integrity of the Service, ensure a safe experience for end users who click your links, and comply with applicable law. Where this AUP conflicts with the Terms of Service, this AUP controls with respect to use of the Service.

go.ramola.app is operated as a California limited liability company. All use of the Service is subject to California law and applicable federal law, including the laws of the United States.

2. Permitted Uses

The Service is designed for legitimate link management and deep linking use cases. The following are examples of permitted uses:

  • Affiliate marketing — Shortening or deep-linking affiliate URLs to Amazon, ShareASale, Commission Junction, Impact, or other affiliate networks, provided the destination is a legitimate retail or merchant page.
  • Mobile app deep links — Routing users from web links to specific screens inside iOS or Android apps, including deferred deep linking for users who do not yet have an app installed.
  • Marketing campaign tracking — Creating UTM-tagged links to track the performance of email, social media, SMS, or paid advertising campaigns.
  • QR code generation — Generating QR codes for print, packaging, signage, or digital use that resolve to your own legitimate web pages or app destinations.
  • Link management and branding — Using custom short domains to create branded, memorable short links for your own business or content.
  • API integrations — Programmatically creating and managing links within your own products or services via the go.ramola.app API, in accordance with applicable rate limits and terms.
  • Analytics and reporting — Using click-level and aggregate analytics to understand audience behavior and optimize campaigns.
  • Social media sharing — Creating short links for sharing on social platforms, provided the destination content is lawful and complies with this AUP.

3. Prohibited Uses

The following categories of use are strictly prohibited. This list is not exhaustive. We reserve the right to take action against any use we determine to be harmful, abusive, or inconsistent with the spirit of this AUP, even if not explicitly listed below.

3.1 Malware, Viruses, and Ransomware Distribution

You may not use the Service to create links that direct users to destinations that install, host, distribute, or facilitate the installation of malicious software of any kind, including but not limited to:

  • Viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other malicious executable code
  • Ransomware, spyware, adware, or stalkerware
  • Exploit kits or drive-by download pages
  • Malicious browser extensions or fake software update pages
  • Command-and-control infrastructure for botnets or malware networks

3.2 Phishing, Credential Harvesting, and Fraud

You may not use the Service to create links that are designed to deceive users into disclosing sensitive information or that facilitate financial fraud, including:

  • Fake login pages impersonating banks, email providers, government agencies, or other services
  • Credential harvesting pages that capture usernames, passwords, or authentication tokens
  • Social engineering attacks designed to trick users into revealing personal or financial data
  • Advance-fee fraud ("419 scams"), investment fraud, or romance scams
  • Fake prize, lottery, or giveaway pages designed to collect payment information
  • Any form of identity theft facilitation

3.3 Spam and Unsolicited Bulk Messaging

You may not use the Service in connection with spam or unsolicited bulk communications, including:

  • Sending unsolicited commercial email (UCE) that includes your go.ramola.app links, in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act or similar laws
  • Bulk SMS or robocall campaigns that include your links and that violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or similar laws
  • Posting your links in unsolicited comments, forum threads, or social media replies at scale
  • Using purchased, scraped, or otherwise non-consensual contact lists
  • Operating link farms, content farms, or schemes designed to artificially inflate click counts

3.4 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Content Involving Minors

The use of the Service to link to, distribute, host, or facilitate access to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexually exploitative content involving minors is absolutely prohibited. We have zero tolerance for any such use. We report all known or suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to applicable law enforcement agencies. Accounts associated with CSAM are permanently terminated and the matter is referred to law enforcement immediately.

3.5 Hate Speech and Targeted Harassment

You may not use the Service to create links to content that:

  • Promotes, glorifies, or incites violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Constitutes targeted harassment or coordinated abuse campaigns against specific individuals
  • Facilitates doxing or the public disclosure of personal information to encourage others to harass a specific person
  • Constitutes threats of violence or credible threats of harm to persons or property

3.6 Illegal Goods and Services

You may not use the Service to facilitate the sale, distribution, or procurement of illegal goods or services, including:

  • Controlled substances, illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia, unless operating as a licensed dispensary in a jurisdiction where such activity is legal and compliant with all applicable regulations
  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapon accessories in violation of applicable law, including unlicensed sales or sales to prohibited persons
  • Counterfeit goods, including fake branded merchandise, forged documents, or replica luxury items
  • Stolen property, hacked accounts, or other proceeds of crime
  • Human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or forced labor
  • Unauthorized gambling services in jurisdictions where such activity is prohibited

3.7 Copyright and Trademark Infringement

You may not use the Service to link to content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, including:

  • Piracy sites, torrent indexes, or cyberlockers that primarily host or facilitate access to copyrighted content without authorization (movies, music, software, books, games)
  • Sites that sell counterfeit goods bearing third-party trademarks without authorization
  • Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyrighted text, images, video, or software
  • Domain squatting or typosquatting schemes designed to divert traffic from legitimate trademark holders

3.8 Privacy Violations

You may not use the Service to link to content that violates the privacy rights of individuals, including:

  • Doxing pages that publicly expose a person's home address, phone number, workplace, or other personal information without consent, with the intent to cause harm
  • Non-consensual intimate images (NCII), sometimes referred to as "revenge porn," regardless of the claimed circumstances of their original creation
  • Stalkerware applications or services that enable covert surveillance of another person without their consent
  • Unlawfully obtained personal data, including data from breaches, scraped databases, or unauthorized surveillance

3.9 Evasion of Security Systems and Cloaking

You may not use the Service as a redirection layer to obscure malicious destinations from security scanners, browser warnings, or platform safeguards, including:

  • Using go.ramola.app short links to bypass URL reputation checks, blocklists, or safe browsing filters
  • Redirect chaining schemes designed to conceal the true final destination from users or security tools
  • Cloaking, where the content or destination shown to a crawler or reviewer differs from what is shown to a real end user
  • Using our infrastructure as a proxy or anonymizing relay for malicious traffic

3.10 Automated Abuse and Artificial Traffic

You may not use the Service in ways that abuse our infrastructure or artificially manipulate analytics data, including:

  • Generating artificial clicks, bot traffic, or fake impressions to inflate analytics dashboards, deceive advertisers, or manipulate affiliate programs
  • Scraping the Service, its APIs, or its infrastructure using automated tools beyond what is permitted by your plan's API rate limits
  • Denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or other attempts to overwhelm our servers or degrade service for other users
  • Credential stuffing, brute force login attempts, or automated account creation at scale
  • Using the Service as part of a botnet's command-and-control infrastructure

3.11 Circumvention of Third-Party Platform Terms

You may not use the Service to circumvent the terms of service of third-party platforms in ways that damage those platforms or their users, including:

  • Redirecting users away from a competitor platform's legitimate purchase or sign-up flow in violation of that platform's affiliate or referral program rules
  • Cookie stuffing or other fraudulent affiliate activity designed to falsely attribute conversions
  • Using go.ramola.app links to bypass app store review requirements by dynamically changing link destinations post-review

4. Enforcement

4.1 Monitoring and Automated Scanning

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor links created through the Service. We use automated systems to scan destinations against known malware, phishing, and abuse databases. Links that trigger these systems may be automatically disabled pending review.

4.2 Takedowns

We may disable individual links at any time, without prior notice, if we determine or reasonably suspect they violate this AUP. We will endeavor to notify the account holder when we take such action, unless doing so would compromise an investigation or is otherwise inappropriate.

4.3 Account Suspension and Termination

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Temporary suspension of your account pending investigation
  • Permanent termination of your account and forfeiture of any prepaid subscription fees
  • Disabling of all links associated with your account
  • Blocking of associated IP addresses, email domains, or payment methods

Serious violations — particularly those involving CSAM, malware distribution, or large-scale fraud — result in immediate permanent termination without warning.

4.4 Law Enforcement Referrals

We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations. Where we identify activity that we believe constitutes a crime, we may proactively refer the matter to relevant law enforcement agencies, including but not limited to the FBI, Department of Justice, NCMEC, and applicable state authorities. We will preserve and produce records in response to valid legal process.

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter a go.ramola.app short link that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to us. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

Please include the full short link URL and a brief description of the suspected violation. For urgent matters involving CSAM or imminent threats of violence, also contact your local law enforcement immediately.

6. Appeal Process

If your account or links have been suspended and you believe the action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting us at support@ramola.app within 30 days of the suspension. Please include:

  • Your account email address
  • The specific links or actions that were affected
  • Your explanation of why you believe the action was taken in error
  • Any supporting evidence

We will review your appeal and respond within 10 business days. Our decision on appeal is final. Accounts terminated for CSAM or other serious violations are not eligible for appeal.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to address new forms of abuse or changes in applicable law. We will notify registered users of material changes by email and by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
