DMCA / Copyright Policy

Last Updated: February 20, 2026

Summary: go.ramola.app is a service provider under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and qualifies for safe harbor protection. We respond promptly to valid takedown notices. To report copyright infringement, email dmca@ramola.app with the required information described below.

1. DMCA Safe Harbor

go.ramola.app ("we," "us," "our") is a service provider as defined under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 ("DMCA"). We provide URL shortening and deep linking services through which users create links that redirect to third-party destinations. We do not select or review destination content prior to link creation, and we are not responsible for content hosted at third-party destinations.

We qualify for safe harbor protection under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) and (d) for claims of copyright infringement arising from content stored at the direction of users and from information location tools (links). In accordance with the DMCA, we have designated a registered agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement and have implemented a repeat infringer policy as described in Section 6 below.

2. Designated DMCA Agent

Our designated agent to receive notifications of claimed copyright infringement is:

DMCA Agent: [DMCA Agent Name]

Email: dmca@ramola.app

Mailing Address:
go.ramola.app — DMCA Agent
[Street Address]
[City, State ZIP]
United States

Our designated agent is also registered with the United States Copyright Office as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2). You may search the Copyright Office's directory of registered agents at copyright.gov/dmca-directory.

3. How to Submit a Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner, and you believe that content accessible through a go.ramola.app short link infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice ("Notice") to our designated agent. To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your Notice must include all of the following elements:

  1. Signature. A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. An electronic signature (including a typed name) is acceptable.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works at a single site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works is sufficient.
  3. Identification of the infringing material. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity. Because go.ramola.app is a link shortening service, please provide the specific go.ramola.app short link URL (e.g., https://go.ramola.app/abc123) that redirects to the allegedly infringing destination. Providing the destination URL as well will help us process your notice more quickly.
  4. Contact information. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. Good faith statement. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. Accuracy statement. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

3.1 Where to Send Your Notice

Submit your takedown notice to our designated DMCA agent by email. Email is the fastest method and strongly preferred:

Email (preferred): dmca@ramola.app

Mail: go.ramola.app — DMCA Agent, [Street Address], [City, State ZIP], United States

Notices submitted by email will be acknowledged within 2 business days. Notices submitted by mail may take longer to process.

Important: A Notice that does not include all six required elements listed above may be considered deficient and may not receive a response or result in any action. Submitting a Notice does not automatically result in removal — we evaluate each Notice for legal sufficiency before acting.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If your link or content has been disabled or removed in response to a DMCA takedown notice and you believe the removal was made in error — for example, because you have a license to use the material, because the material is in the public domain, or because the notice misidentified your content — you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

A valid counter-notification must include:

  1. Signature. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material. Identification of the material that was disabled or removed and the location (go.ramola.app short link URL) at which it appeared before removal.
  3. Statement under penalty of perjury. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  4. Consent to jurisdiction. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the Northern District of California if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.

Submit your counter-notification to our designated DMCA agent at dmca@ramola.app. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will promptly forward it to the original complainant and inform them that we may restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), go.ramola.app maintains and enforces a policy for the termination, in appropriate circumstances, of the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

An account may be subject to suspension or permanent termination upon receipt of multiple valid DMCA takedown notices. We evaluate each situation on its merits, taking into account factors such as the number of notices, the volume of content affected, whether the account holder responded appropriately, and whether there is a pattern of infringing activity. Accounts that receive three or more valid DMCA strikes within a 12-month period will generally be terminated. Accounts used for systematic or willful copyright infringement may be terminated immediately upon a first notice.

6. Misuse of DMCA Notices

Warning: Knowingly submitting a false DMCA takedown notice — for example, claiming infringement when you know the use is lawful, or submitting a notice to suppress lawful content you simply dislike — exposes you to significant legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification (in a counter-notification), is liable for any resulting damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, by us, or by a license holder. We reserve the right to pursue all available remedies against those who submit fraudulent or abusive DMCA notices.

7. Limitations of Our Service

go.ramola.app is a link shortening and routing service. We do not host destination content. When we receive a valid takedown notice, we disable the short link, which prevents the link from routing users to the allegedly infringing destination. We cannot directly remove the underlying content at the destination — that content is hosted by third parties and you should also submit a notice directly to the destination host.

If a go.ramola.app link that you reported is disabled but the same infringing content later appears at a new short link, please submit a new notice identifying the new link.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email and by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
